As we age, wrinkles appear that can be of two types: static wrinkles due to aging over the years and expression wrinkles such as those caused by frowning or those in the nasolabial area. Static wrinkles are treated by injecting filler materials such as hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxyapatite, among others. Hyaluronic acid injection is recommended in the following cases: • Eliminate static wrinkles such as those in the nasolabial fold • Return volume to areas where it was lost due to the aging process such as: cheeks, chin and jaw • Reduce dark circles under the eyes and increase lip volume Expression wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyebrows, around the eyes and some on the neck are treated by injecting botulinum toxin into the muscle plate. Botulinum toxin is applied directly to the wrinkles to be treated, such as expression lines around the eyes, forehead and between the eyebrows. Its effect relaxes the movement of muscles, thus minimizing wrinkles if they are marked, or eliminating them if they are soft. Wrinkles can even be prevented from appearing. The results of the botulinum toxin injection can begin to be seen 24 or 48 hours after its application and last approximately 3 to 6 months. WHAT SOLUTIONS DO WE PROPOSE?
